How long can I hire for?

Most machines are available on 1, 3 or 6 month hire terms — the exact terms and prices are listed on each machine’s page. Browse the full range on our equipment hire page.

Can I hire the equipment weekly?

Most of the equipment can be hired in either monthly or 3 monthly periods. Payment is required at the time of delivery.

What is the difference between hiring and rent to own?

Hiring is a straight out hire for a designated period of time, and the equipment can be returned at the end of the period. Rent to own is a 24 month interest free contract through a finance company which you are paying off — it can’t be returned, as you are buying the equipment.

Do I get a new machine when I hire?

Not always, but most of the equipment is less than 6 months old or brand new. If you decide to buy at the end of the first hire we will swap it for a new machine, or you can buy the ex-hire unit at a discounted price.

What happens if the equipment breaks down during my hire?

If the equipment breaks down during the hire period we will either fix or replace the machine, and add any down time back onto the contract.

How much is delivery and collection?

Delivery, setup and collection is $50 to most areas of Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and $80 from Burpengary north, between 9.00am and 4.00pm on all three/six month hires and rent to owns. That is one charge covering the trip out and the trip back. Outside those hours an after-hours surcharge of $50.00 may be incurred, and delivery to outlying areas will incur additional fees. If you have a safe, dry place to leave the equipment we are happy to collect it during standard collection hours without you being home. All equipment needs to be returned clean, otherwise a cleaning fee of $50.00 may be charged.

Does the equipment come assembled?

Yes — all equipment arrives fully assembled and ready to use. The only exception is home gyms, which have an installation fee — $250, or $350 for the model with a leg press. You are welcome to install it yourself instead. We also install, service and repair equipment you already own, whoever you bought it from.

Do you carry the equipment up stairs?

The driver comes on his own, however wherever possible and where safe he will endeavour to place the machine in the desired location.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We deliver to 361 suburbs across Brisbane, Logan, the Gold Coast and Moreton Bay from our base at Yatala — $50 for delivery, setup and collection, and $80 from Burpengary north. Outlying areas can still be serviced, but additional delivery fees will apply — give us a call on 1300 800 776 and we will let you know exactly what applies to your address.

Can I collect it myself instead of paying for delivery?

Yes. You are welcome to collect from our warehouse at 2/26 Octal St, Yatala, halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and there is no delivery charge if you do. Call us on 1300 800 776 first so the machine is ready and someone is here to help you load it. Bring a van, a ute or a trailer — most machines will not fit in a car — and a second pair of hands, because treadmills and home gyms are heavy. If you are hiring, you can bring it back the same way at the end of the term.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is made at the time of delivery — you can pay the driver by cash, card or Afterpay. There is nothing to pay when you place your order.

Can I buy the machine at the end of my hire?

Yes. If you decide to buy at the end of your first hire we will either swap it for a brand new machine, or you can buy the ex-hire unit you already have at a discounted price.

How does rent to own work?

Rent to own is a 24 month interest free contract arranged through a finance company. You pay it off weekly and the machine is yours at the end — it can’t be returned partway through, because you are buying it rather than hiring it. Indicative weekly rates are shown on each machine’s page.

Can the treadmill be used outdoors?

No — the equipment must be used in a dry, dust free environment. That means indoors, and not in a carport, garage or on a patio where it can be exposed to moisture and dust.

Does the equipment have to be returned clean?

Yes. All equipment needs to be returned clean, otherwise a cleaning fee of $50.00 may be charged. A quick wipe down before collection is all it usually takes.

How many calories will I burn on the equipment?

It depends on your body weight, the machine and how hard you go, so we built a tool rather than guess. The daily calorie calculator estimates how many calories you burn in a day and shows what 30, 45 or 60 minutes on a treadmill, bike, rower, cross trainer or home gym burns at your weight. You can switch the whole thing to kilojoules.
